REMOTE SWITCHING OF SURROUND SPEAKER MODES
If you want to be able to switch between the TriFX™ mode and the Dipole mode, you can do so by using a speaker
selector box. The specifi c instructions will vary according to the particular speaker selector box you are using
and so this section is intended to be general in nature.
First of all make sure that the Positive ( + ) lead from the surround channel amplifi er or receiver is connected to
the RED ( + ) terminal labeled "1", and the Negative ( - ) lead from the same surround channel on the amplifi er
or receiver is connected to the BLACK ( - ) terminal labeled "2"
In order to be able to switch between the Dipole mode and the TriFX™ mode connect the Positive (+) lead from
the speaker selector's INPUT to the RED (+) terminal labeled "3". Next connect a separate lead from one of the
Positive (+) OUTPUTS on the speaker selector to terminal "4" (See Figure 4).
