Checking the expansion tank

Annual maintenance is required to
ensure the tank’s functionality.
Check the tank for external damage (e.g.
corrosion)
Carry out a diaphragm function test by briefly activating
the filling valve. The membrane is faulty if
water escapes.
Check the inlet pressure by draining the tank on the wate
side. Inspect the inlet pressure with a manometer and
compare it with the commissioning value.
If necessary, refill with nitrogen (inlet pressure
0.5 bar below the cut-in pressure).
Tighten the cap after the pressure test.
