MULTI-FIX-PLUS setting
When using the KHS CoolFlow connection set figure 619 01, the pipe diameter
can be selected using the following tables,and the maximum possible pipe
length for flow and return can be read off as a total.
The point of intersection of the 90° bends to be installed and the pipe
length must lie below the “Max. pipe length” line. The pressure losses of the
connection set components are already taken into account.
To adjust the cooling circuit to the specified nominal
flow rate, the pump’s residual pressure must be
throttled with a balancing valve. When using the
connection set figure 619 01, the setting value
for the balancing valve (MULTI-FIX-PLUS DN25)
included in the set can be read from the tables:
First select the correct diagram via the chiller unit
type (4.7 / 7.6 kW) and the nominal pipe size
installed. The valve’s setting value can be read from
the point of intersection of the number of bends and
the installed pipe length.
