IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
30. Do not operate the blender with a damaged cord or plug. If the supply cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to
avoid a hazard.
31. Blades are sharp. Use extreme care when emptying the bowl and during cleaning to avoid
injury.
32. Keep hands and utensils out of container while blending to reduce the risk of severe injury to
persons or damage to the blender. A rubber scraper or spatula may be used, but only when the
container is removed from the motor base and the blades are not moving.
33. Do not operate with loose or damaged blades. Do not remove blade assembly from the
container. Contact your authorized KeMar service representative for service or replacement.
34. When making nut butters or oil-based foods, do not process for more than one minute after
the mixture starts to circulate in the container. Processing for longer periods can cause damage to
the container and motor overheating.
35. In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance
must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to
a circuit that is regularly switched on and o
ff
by the utility.
POWER CORD ADVICE
A) The power cord is short in order to avoid entanglement or tripping.
B) An extension cord can be added if used properly.
C) If extension cord is used:
(1) Its power capacity must at least be the same as that of the device's power consump on.
(2) The extension cord must not hang over the edge of the device. Ensure that children cannot pull it
and that the risk of tripping is low.
