GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded. In the event
of a malfunction or breakdown, grounding will
reduce the risk of electric shock by providing a
path of least resistance of electric current. This
appliance is equipped with a cord having an
equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding
plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate
outlet that is installed and grounded in accordance
with all local codes and ordinances.

are in doubt whether the appliance is
properly grounded. D o not modify the plug

If the hot-water sy stem has not be en used for s uch a pe riod, before using the di shwashe r turn on all
hot-wa ter fa ucets and let the w ater flow from ea ch for s eve ral mi nut es. This will re leas e any
accumulate d hydrogen ga s. As the ga s is fla mmable , do not sm oke o r us e an open flame during this
time.
When using your dishwasher, follow the below basic precautions including the following:

Keep child away from detergent and rinse aid, keep
child away from the open door of the dishwasher,
there could still be some detergent left inside.
Do not abuse, sit on, or stand on the door or dish
rack of the dishwasher.
Do not touch the heating element during or
immediately after use.
Do not wash plastic items unless they are marked
dishwasher safe or the equivalent. For plastic
items not so marked, check the manufactures
recommendations.

la undry de terge nt, or ha nd was hing dete rgent
in y our dis hw as her. Ke ep thes e produc ts out of
chi ldren.
During i nsta lla tion, the power supply must not
be e xce ssively or dangerously bent or flattene d.
The door should not be l eft in the ope n position
since this could pres ent a tri pping hazards.
Do not tamper with controls.
Do n ot ope rate y our dis hw as her unless all
e ncl osu re panels ar e prop erly in pla ce. Open the
door ve ry car efully i f th e dish wa she r is op era ting,
t her e is a risk of wa ter squirting ou t.
Do not place any heav y objects of stand on the door
when it is open. The appliance could tip forward.

If the supply cord i s dama ge d, it m ust be re placed
by the manufac turer or its ser vice agent or a
si mi la rly quali fied pe rs on i n order to a void a
hazard.
