b) Use a wrench or socket to adjust the vertical tensioner
bolt beneath the motor mount.

c) Adjust the motor mount position up or down as required.
Clockwise lowers the motor mount, increasing belt
tension. Anti-clockwise raises the motor mount to
decrease belt tension.
d) Make sure that the V-belt tension is correct and
re-tighten the 4 bolts.
7) If the V-belt pulleys are mis-aligned, do these steps:
a) Remove the motor cover.

b) Loosen the 4 bolts that hold the motor to the motor mount.

c) Adjust the motor position forwards or backwards.

d) Make sure that the V-belt pulleys align and tighten the
4
bolts.
8) Install the V-belt inspection cover.
HOW TO ADJUST GEAR ENGAGEMENT
WARNING!
Do not operate the product without the safety guard
installed.
NOTE:
Incorrect gear engagement will result in early wear of
gear components.
Correct gear engagement is achieved when the teeth of the bowl
and the teeth of the pinion are 2/3 engaged upon contact.

Adjustments can be made by moving the washers to the upper
or lower position on the bowl shaft.
