• Grey-white cable with small cross-section: The CR4 is not normally connected to the original
horn button. If you intend to replace your original horn button with another one that is only
suitable for low currents, you can connect it to the grey-white cable with a small cross-section.
Prerequisite: You use the original horn as an acoustic signal emitter. The CR4 then functions as
an electronic horn relay. The input of the push-button must have positive potential.
Setting the threshold of the alarm system
If the alarm system is too sensitive or too insensitive, you can adjust the sensitivity. There are
10 levels available. Proceed as follows:
1. Turn the ignition on and off five times in succession. The control light flashes once or several
times to indicate which level is set. It flashes five times with the factory setting (level
5: Medium sensitivity). The more often it flashes, the more sensitive the setting. Level 1: Low
sensitivity; level 10: Highest sensitivity.
2. The sensitivity can be increased or decreased with the indicator switch. Turn on left and then
off again. The control light now flashes either four or six times.
3. Repeat point (2) on the left to change the sensitivity further in this direction. Turn on right
and off again to change to the opposite direction.
4. After a short pause, the currently set sensitivity is displayed after each press by flashing the
control lamp. It is also possible to change several levels in one go without having to wait for
the display after each step.
5. Storage: If no further input is made for a period of time, the control lamp lights up once for a
long time. The setting is now saved. Switching on the ignition once also exits the setting mode
and saves the setting.
6. If you then enter the setting mode again (5x ignition on/off), the control lamp displays the
set sensitivity by flashing one to ten times.
