Diagnosis on burnt-out bulbs
Burnt-out bulbs
Turn the ignition switch; press the horn or turn the steering
lamp switch.
The horn works abnormally or
does not make sound; the
steering lamp emits weak light.
The horn makes loud sound and the
steering lamp emits bright light.
1.
Check whether the conductor joint
connecting battery is in good condition.
2.
Check whether the electrolyte is deficient
inside the battery.
3.
Check whether the electrolyte density
inside the battery is too low.
Remove the connector between the rectifier
regulator and the cable assembly; check whether
there is open circuit between the
lighting/charging coil of electromagnetic motor
and the rectifier regulator with an ohm meter.
Set the multimeter to DC voltage 0V~20V;
measure the voltage between the conductor
terminal (connector to battery) (normally red
wire or red/white wire) and the negative pole.
