3) Release the lock on the right side of the expansion module to be added

by pushing it up.

4) Remove the protective cap of the plug connector on the left side of the

already installed module.

5) Install the expansion module to be added on the mounting rail and lock

it, see

5.5 Installing the module

6) Slide the expansion module to be added to the right until the recesses

are fully engaged in the hooks of the already installed module.

Caution

If the expansion module is installed improperly, its function may be im-
paired. When adding expansion modules, make sure that the hooks are en-
gaged.
