When battery conditions are normal the rectifier starts operation, the inverter starts 30s later and the
battery LED will be on.
CAUTION!
Press the start button for 30 seconds until the battery switch closes.

Shut down procedure
CAUTION!
This procedure should be followed to completely shut down the UPS and the LOAD.
After all power switches, isolators and circuit breakers are opened, there should be
no output.
On-line mode:
1. Press OFF to shut down the UPS, wait about 30s.
2. Open the BATTERY breaker.
3. Open the battery power switch for standard UPS.
4. Switch to OFF the AC input breaker.
5. Open the OUTPUT breaker.
The UPS shuts down.
6. To completely isolate the UPS from AC Mains, all switches for the utility input shall be turned
off.
7. At the primary input distribution panel, a label should be posted to advise personnel that the
UPS circuit is under maintenance.
Battery mode:
1. Press OFF to shut down the UPS, wait about 30s.
2. Open the BATTERY breaker.
3. Open the battery power switch for standard UPS.
4. Open the OUTPUT breaker.
The UPS shuts down.
WARNING!
Wait for about 5 minutes for the internal DC bus and capacitors to completely
discharged.
