Entering Characters

Entering E-mail Addresses

E-mail Address Compatible Characters

For the account name (part before @), you can enter up to 20 single-byte
alphanumeric characters including hyphens (-) and periods (.). However, you
cannot enter periods consecutively or at the beginning or end, or enter a
zero (0) at the beginning.

Before you enter an e-mail address, switch to single-byte alphanumeric mode.

Enter "taro.23."
