To use e-mail, you need to apply for an EZweb (Internet) subscription. If you 
did not apply for an EZweb subscription at the time of purchase, contact the 
au Customer Service Center or an au shop. Also, before use, be sure to 
make the initial settings. If you have not yet made the initial settings, 
see page 19. 
The e-mail service enables you to use an Internet e-mail address for 
exchanging text information (messages) with e-mail compatible cell phones, 
personal computers, and other devices. The cell phone is capable of sending 
messages containing up to 10,000 single-byte characters (5000 double-byte 
characters), as well as moving images (movies), still images (photos) and 
other information.
E-mail fees are charged as data communication fees that vary according to 
the amount of data (packet data) you send and receive via e-mail.
