Data communication

Connecting WiMAX network

Using ＋WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave
Access) you can enjoy large-volume data such as videos
or music at home or when you are out. You can use the
ISW11F as a mobile wireless LAN router to connect up to 8
more wireless LAN devices.
• ＋WiMAX is a charged service.

In the Settings menu screen, "Wireless &

networks"

Mark "WiMAX"

The WiMAX function turns on.

"WiMAX settings"

Advanced setting for WiMAX and WiMAX network
information appear.

Set required items

◎ Separated packet communication charges are applied when

using WiMAX. Subscribing to the packet flat-rate service is
recommended.

◎ If the wireless LAN (Wi-Fi

®

) function and WiMAX function are

enabled in "Wireless & networks" and radio wave for connected
network reduces to a certain level or less, the ISW11F connects
automatically to the other network. And if Wi-Fi

®

network and

WiMAX network are cut off, packet communication takes the
place automatically.

◎ WiMAX is available only if "Area settings" is set to "Japan".
