Packing Away
•
Always rinse Kayacat with fresh water and allow to dry before storing.
•
Open 4 x transparent deflation valves
•
Unclip sheet from cleat then undo knot in sheet or knot at sail clew, unfasten
short bungee from mast foot then remove Mast & Sail from mast foot. Remove
Mast from Sail.
•
Replace mast base rubber end-cap. Tap mast base on floor to release joints until
all are retracted, then replace top rubber end cap.
•
To avoid unnecessary creases in sail and it's window, layout sail on flat clean
surface, begin by folding from the bottom edge (foot of sail) and avoid folding the
sail window.
•
Remove and dissemble all items attached to floats.
•
Re-pack in reverse order using your previous photos/video clips and be sure to
roll main Kayacat floats tightly.
• Tips - Place back rest then seat frame in back pack first, followed by mesh seat
and cargo nets, then tightly rolled Kayacat, then insert frames pieces, paddle
sections either side, adding sail, pump and leash etc.
