FITTING THE VISOR TO THE HELMET:
When fitting only use KASK adapters and visor supports.
1) Identify the left and right adapter (identified by the letter R and L on the back
of the adapter) and insert them into the holes (fig. 1) until they click(Figure 1A
and fig. 2),
2) Attach the FF visor to the support by matching the hooking clips to the fitting
holes (fig. 3). Then close the red levers to lock the FF visor (fig. 4),
3) Attach the visor support with the FF visor to the helmet (fig. 5) first placing the
rear black hooking clip on the adapter (fig. 6) and subsequently the red cursor
(fig. 7),
4) To remove the visor support pull the red cursor positioned on the visor adapter
(fig. 8) and unhook,
5) To remove the adapters, press the corresponding hooking clip inside the shell
(fig. 9) and extract them.
CLEANING
Remove the visor from the helmet and clean using only water and neutral pH
soap and leave it to dry naturally at room temperature. Do not, under any
circumstance use chemical detergents, solvents, petrol or abrasive powders as
they are aggressive and could lower the structural resistance of the visor.
STORAGE
Store in a dry and cool place away from UV rays. When not in use, the helmet
should be stored away from direct sunlight and sources of heat and we
recommend replacing the visor in its original packaging. Any alteration or
addition that is not provided for may impair the protective function of the visor.
TRANSPORT
No particular instructions are necessary for its transport.
LIFE
The KASK articles and accessories made of plastic may have a maximum
duration of 10 years starting from the year of manufacture stated on the product.
However, the life of the visor depends on various factors which cause
deterioration, including sudden temperature changes, the amount of exposure
to direct sunlight and the intensity of use. Inspect the visor regularly to check
for any damage! Vision alteration, scrapes, and scratches are detectors of
deterioration of the visor, and we recommend replacing it.
Discard and replace the product in the following cases:
- Product with a production date older than 10 years
- Product subject to a strong impact, fall or mechanical deformation.
- Product not meeting the control requirements.
- Product of questionable provenance and usage history.
- Obsolete product compared to standards or devices to which it is applied..
