9. EVEN WHEN NOT IN USE, ALWAYS UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE FROM THE
SOCKET BEFORE FITTING OR REMOVING SINGLE ATTACHMENTS OR BEFO-
RE CLEANING THE APPLIANCE.
10. Always make sure that your hands are thoroughly dry before using or adjusting
the switches on the appliance, or before touching the power plug or power con-
nections.
11. Before starting the appliance, make sure that it is perfectly assembled.
12. Never operate the appliance without submerging the blade set.
13. NEVER TOUCH MOVING PARTS.
14. Never place hands or insert metal utensils such as forks, knives, etc. … into the
blade set while the appliance is operating.
15. Blades must be handled with care; there is a risk of injury.
16. Do not use the appliance if the blade set is damaged.
17. Do not use the appliance to chop excessively hard foods (e.g., ice cubes or meat
on the bone).
18. To unplug the appliance, grip the plug and remove it directly from the power
socket. Never pull the power cord to unplug the appliance.
19. Never use the appliance if the power cord or the plug are damaged or if the
appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner; in this case, return
the appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or
adjustment.
20. To prevent any risk, if the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons.
21. This appliance is designed for HOME USE ONLY and may not be used for com-
mercial or industrial purposes.
22. Any changes to this product that have not been expressly authorized by the
manufacturer may void the product warranty.
23. If you decide not to use the appliance any longer, make it unserviceable by
simply cutting the supply cable after disconnecting the plug from the socket. Also
make any dangerous parts unserviceable, especially for children who could play
with the appliance.
24. Packaging must never be left within the reach of children since it is potentially
dangerous.
