6.2 Air Filter

Air Filter

WARNING

If the air filter is clogged,it is recommended to

replace it before the periodical maintenance

time.

WARNING

Always use genuine parts. To use non-genuine

parts may cause undesired results on engine

performance.

Removal

Check

Replacement

1. To remove the air filter,pull the clamps and

open the locking brackets.

2. Remove the cover

3. Pull out the filter element.

•

Prior to check the air filter,stop the engine.

• Ensure that the engine is stopped and the

contact key is at “OFF” (Closed) position.

• Do not start the engine before mounting the

air filter.

• After the maintenance, reset the display. And

check it after starting the engine.

To replace the air filter, take the vehicle to a

KARSAN service station.
