MAINTENANCE
Check the viscosity of the oil by oil level bar. The
oil on the bar should not be dry or watery.
One of the tasks of the engine oil is to keep the
engine clean. There are some additives such as
detergent agents.
Engine oil protects the metal surfaces against
wear. Oil becomes dirty during engine running
time.
To check the engine oil by hand and eye can
be illusive. The particules bigger than 2 mm in
the oil, shows the oil is defected. For the certain
result, take the oil to a laboratuary for chemical
and physical observation.
Check the engine oil level when the engine is
stopped and the vehicle is on a plain surface.
Pull out the oil level control bar from the hole
and clean it with a fabric.Put it into the oil level
control hole and pull out again. Measure the oil
level according to the strips on the bar.

INFORMATION
• If the oil level is not between two
strips,then the oil is less or more.
• The oil level should be between these two
strips.Upper strip shows the minimum
level and lower strip shows the maximum
level.
• Discharge the waste oil regarding to the
environment protection regulations.
• Avoid to spill the oil while filling it to the
tank.
• If the oil color is dark or black, please
take the vehicle to a KARSAN service
station immediately.
