If the vehicle will not be used for more than 6 months, the following measures have to be taken:
13.1
Draining the fresh water tank
●
Drain the fresh water tank (see item 5.6 “Draining the fresh water tank”).
●
Clean and disinfect, if possible
13.2
Draining the cold and hot water
●
Also see item 5.10 “Draining the boiler”.
●
Switch off the fresh water pump for this, turn all outlets (mixer taps) to the open centre position
and place the shower hose downwards. Once the water has drained, switch on the fresh water
pump again for 20 seconds while flushing the toilet. This ensures that no water remains in the sys-
tem. Switch off the fresh water pump.
●
If necessary, clean and empty the traps in the bathroom and kitchen.
13.3
Draining the heating boiler
Drain the heating boiler. (See item 5.10 “Draining the boiler”.)
13.4
Draining the waste water and waste holding tank
Drain the waste water tank. (See item 5.13 “Draining the waste water tank”.)

Clean and disinfect, if possible
Drain and clean the waste holding tank (cassette). (See item 9.6 “Draining the waste holding tank
Environmental contamination due to inexpert disposal
Only dispose of waste water at the waste disposal points provided specifically for this
purpose.
Note:
The drain valves of the fresh water tank and waste water tank as well as the toilet
slide valve should remain open while the vehicle is laid up to enable air circulation and
prevent odours from forming.
13.5
Closing the gas system

Close the safety valve on the gas cylinder.
●
Lock the gas cylinder compartment.
13.6
Electrical system
●
Check the state of charge of starter battery B1 and, if necessary, charge it with the battery
charger in the vehicle. (This is only possible if the vehicle is connected to the 230 V power supply.)
●
Check the state of charge of living room battery B2 and, if necessary, charge it with the battery
charger in the vehicle. (This is only possible if the vehicle is connected to the 230 V power supply,
