When driving on an incline, the battery indicator light might move up
and down. This is normal.
●
Even if the batteries are used properly their capacity will decay over time,
thereby reducing the drive range (maximum distance traveled per full
charge). Thus, when the drive range becomes about 50% of what brand
new batteries would offer, it's time to replace them with new batteries.
Otherwise, the batteries may die unexpectedly leaving you in a possibly
precarious situation.

The drive range will be shortened when driving frequently on slopes or
uneven ground, as this consumes more battery power.
5.1.13 Freewheel Lever
This wheelchair is equipped with a freewheel lever. It allows the user to
manually pushing the wheelchair if required. See Figure 5.3 for
operation instructions.
5.1.13.1 To Select Neutral from the Engaged Position
5.1.13.1.1Push the freewheel lever downwards located under the rear
casing. The wheelchair will now roll freely.
5.1.13.2 To Engage the Motors from the Neutral Position
5.1.13.2.1Simply pull the freewheel lever upwards. The Motor are
engaged.
CAUTION
●
Always ensure that the freewheel lever are engaged before using the
wheelchair. (i.e. Before turning on controller)
●
The freewheel lever can only be pushed downwards when the power of
the controller is turned off.
●
When the freewheel lever are neutral (no brakes), we suggest that there's
one attendant for assistance.
