VR2 Controller can be installed in the wheelchair. Please refer to relative
control panel for the operation of the wheelchair.
5.1.1 Power ON/OFF
5.1.1.1 Press the power button. Be sure not to touch the joystick while
turning on the controller. Your battery & diagnostics indicator
should light up. (See Figure 5.1, 5.2)
5.1.1.2 If the joystick is not in the neutral position when the wheelchair is
powered on, the system will inhibit the movement of the wheelchair
and the battery indicator will flash. Move the joystick to the neutral
position and the operation of the wheelchair will come to normal.
CAUTION
● For VR2 controller, the battery indicator might be lower than the actual
value if the wheelchair is powered off and on immediately. The controller
will recalculate it when the wheelchair is driven for a short distance. The
battery indicator will show the actual value, then.
5.1.2 Locking / Unlocking the Wheelchair
5.1.2.1 VR2 Controller
The VR2 control system can be locked to prevent unauthorized use. The
locking method is via a sequence of key presses and joystick
movements, as detailed below.
