5.2.7 Moving the Seat Forwards or Backwards

Loosen the knob bolt under the front of the seat.

Tilt the seat back.

. Loosen the four bolts under the driver's seat with the Allen Wrench
included in your KARMA Tool Kit.
(See Figure 5.16).
5.2.7.4
Slide the seat forwards or backwards to the desired position. The total
range of adjustment is 10cm.

Re-tighten the bolts.
5.2.7.6
Tilt the seat down and relighted the knob bolt.
5.2.8 Suspension Anti-tippers
Use the tool supplied in your KARMA Tool Kit to attach the suspension anti-tippers.
(See Figure 5.17)
CAUTION
●Always use the anti-tippers on your wheelchair to prevent injury.
5.2.9 Suspension System
Your power wheelchair comes with rear shock absorbers as well as shock
absorbers on the anti-tippers. If the shock absorbers need to be adjusted, please
go to your authorized service provider.
5.2.10 Starting and Driving
5.2.10.1Make sure the driver's seat is installed properly
5.2.10.2 Make sure the armrests have been returned to the proper position.
5.2.10.3 Turn the power ON. If necessary, turn on the headlights and taillights.
5.2.10.4 Check the battery indicator and make sure there is enough power for your
trip(s). If you have any doubt about the remaining power, please charge the
battery before you depart.
5.2.10.5 Set the speed dial to the proper level.
5.2.10.6 Be sure the controller is in good condition.
5.2.10.7 Make sure the electromagnetic brake is in good working order..
5.2.10.8 Always make sure that your surroundings are safe to operate the
wheelchair.

●
Do not turn the power OFF while driving, as this will lead to an abrupt stop
