Risk of injury! The carrying belt also serves
as a self-rescue facility in hazardous situa-

CAUTION
Risk of injury and damage! Prior to starting
mowing, check the work area for any obsta-
cles (objects like wire, stones, threads or
glass) that might be flung up into the air.
Press the release button.
Push the power switch, device starts.
NOTICE
The power switch also works as a speed
controller. The more the switch is pressed
in, the faster the string blade will rotate. Do
not push the power switch in fully to begin
with.
Always guide the cutting head parallel
to the floor.
Guide the brush cutter over the uncut
area in a semi-circular movement when
mowing.
When mowing, the string of the string trim-
mer will be subject to wear and tear - it will
fray, be torn off and therefore become
shorter.
A string that is too short will result in unsat-
isfactory mowing results.
NOTICE
The string length can be extended during
operation.
To extend the string automatically, tap
the base of the cutting head briefly.
NOTICE
If the string is no longer extended automat-
ically, it will have to be replaced.
