KMR – TRAC
Prior to initial start-up Unpacking the sweeper
The machine has been secured to a pallet to keep it
safe during transport. Unpack the unit as follows:
„
Cut plastic band.
„
Remove chocks from under wheels, and drive unit
down a ramp and off pallet, or
„
lift unit by hand over chocks and off pallet.
Assembly – driver seat
„
Insert 4 enclosed spacers between seat and folding
support mechanism, adjust seat to required position,
and secure tightly using four bolts (SW 9/16" / SW14).
Assembly – steering
„
Position front wheels so that they are pointing forward
in a straight line.
„
Mount the cover over the steering column.
„
Set steering wheel to required position. Ensure that
steering wheel is properly seated on end of steering
column.
„
Place dome-shaped washer, with raised side pointing
upwards, onto steering spindle. Secure with nut
(SW 1/2" / SW13).
„
Place cap on centre of steering wheel, and press
firmly.
Air pressure – tyres
During transport the air pressure in the tyres may have
become too high.
„
Check tyre pressure before starting unit.
Recommended air pressure is approx. 0.9 bar
(12 psi).
All four tyres must have the same air pressure.
Check the pressure at regular intervals.
