5. Care and maintenance
Clean the machine after each use. Remove
foreign bodies, particularly fibers, string, etc.
from the brushes and drive parts.
Take the fabric filter out of the housing, wash
it off if necessary, and then refit it correctly.
Note: Dust-free brushing only with filter.
Check the following at regular intervals:
• Rubber floor seals
for wear or damage.
• Rotary brush
for wear.
Note: The brushes must be replaced when
their length is less than 65 mm.
Undo 3 screws on each rotary brush and
replace the old brushes with new ones.
• Side brush
for wear.
Note: The side brush must be replaced
when less than 1/3 of the brush
circumference makes contact with the
ground when the brush is in its lowest
setting.
Replace the side brush by removing the nut
and plain washer and fit a new side brush in
reverse order.
If the round belt that drives the side brush has
to be replaced it must be crossed over to
reverse the direction of rotation.
