1. Important notes
Please observe the following points before
putting the unit into operation:
The sweeping machine is not suitable for
sweeping up liquids.
1.1 Transport damage
Inform your Kärcher sales department if you
notice transport damage when unpacking
the machine.
1.2 Warranty
The guarantee terms issued by our
responsible marketing company are valid in
each country. We shall repair any fault in
your unit free of charge within the period of
guarantee provided this is due to defective
materials or workmanship. When making a
claim under the guarantee, please contact
your dealer or nearest authorized customer
service office with proof of purchase.
1.3 Safety instructions
Please observe the following in order to avoid
the risk of fire or injury:
1. Do not sweep up any poisonous,
carcinogenic and hazardous substances
or other dangerous materials.
2. Do not sweep up any burning or glowing
objects such as cigarettes, matches and
similar items.
3. Please use thick gloves when removing
glass, metal or other materials from the
dirt container.
1.4 Protecting the environment
• When you have unpacked the unit, do not
simply throw the packaging into the house-
hold waste.
• Take the various items of packaging to the
appropriate collecting points for recycling.
