Note: The use of the handset depends on the base set to which the handset
was registered. Some functions do not function as described below if
the DECT base set does not support these functions. Especially the
functions ‘caller identification’ and ‘unanswered call list’ depend on the
base set type.
Switching the FreeStar on and off
You can switch off the FreeStar to save batteries by pressing and holding OK
for 3 seconds. Repeat this procedure to switch the phone on again.
Receiving Calls
Internal Call
•
If you call your FreeStar from another handset,
the internal calling number appears on the
display.
•
Pick up the handset and you are connected to
the caller.
External Call
•
On an external call the external calling number
appears on the display if your DECT base
supports this function.
•
Pick up the handset and you are connected to
the caller.
