4.2.2. Handling infected objects
If the program detected objects infected with a virus, try to disinfect them.
Unfortunately, sometimes it is impossible to do (Scanner displays the
corresponding message). In this case infected objects must be deleted.

Scanner does not disinfect files corrupted by a virus, files that in fact
are Trojans, archived files, mail databases and plane mail files.

Be careful when handling infected and suspicious objects or their
copies! If some executable file is infected, do not start it.

If your anti-virus scanner was preset to ask for instructions on
how to handle infected objects,
after detection of such an object it will display the object’s name, the
virus name and will ask you to choose the method to handle this object.
For example, the inquiry string may look similar to the following:
