4. Disconnecting the Drive
SATA:
Windows 98SE / ME
1. Right-Click on the My Computer Icon and click Properties .
2. Click on the
Device Manager Tab.
3. Double-Click on Disk Drives .
4. Left-Click to highlight the device labeled STS312002 6AS SCSI Disk and
click on the Remove button .
5. When the Confirm dialog appears, click “
OK ” to remove the device.
6. It is now safe to unplug the device from your computer.
Windows 2000 / XP
1. Right-Click on the My Computer Icon and click Properties .
2. Click on the
Hardware Tab and click on the Device Manager button.
3. Double-Click on Disk Drives .
4. Right-Click on the device labeled STS312002 6AS SCSI Disk and select
Uninstall .
5. When the Confirm dialog appears, click “
OK ” to remove the device.
6. It is now safe to unplug the device from your computer.
