2.1 Setting up your Kanguru QS Slim
The Kanguru QS Slim BD-RE does not require any drivers for supported operating systems. These
operating systems already have built-in drivers that support USB connection with the Kanguru QS
Slim BD-RE.
Simply connect your Kanguru QS Slim to your PC. Windows will automatically detect the new
hardware and install the appropriate driver. When the installation has completed successfully, you
will see a “BD-RE Drive” icon appear in My Computer.
Note:
If your QS Slim is not being recognized, connect the USB to power cable to your computer
first and then connect the built-in USB cable. This will ensure that adequate power is supplied to your
drive.

Compatibility issues with read/write functions may occur depending on the media manufacturing
quality.
Please note that even among the media manufacturers listed above, some media may exist that is not
