Installation
Note (2.5” model only):
The 2.5” EcoDrive’s USB cable has 2 USB plugs. One
plug transfers data and power while the other transfers power only. Depending
on your motherboard, you may be able to operate the EcoDrive with only the
data/power plug connected. However, we suggest that you connect both ends of
the USB cable to the computer during operation.
Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7, Mac OS 9.x/10.x
The Kanguru Eco Drive does not require any driver files for Windows 2000, XP,
Vista, 7, or Mac OS 9.x or 10.x. These operating systems include a generic USB
Mass Storage driver, which will support the Kanguru Eco Drive.
Simply plug in the Kanguru Eco Drive into a USB port and your OS will
automatically detect the new hardware and install the appropriate driver.
When the installation has completed successfully, you should find a new drive
letter has mounted in “My Computer” (Windows) or on your Desktop/Disk Utility
application (Mac OS) as Kanguru . You can now write and/or read files from your
Kanguru Eco Drive.

(Windows).
