Always close the blender jug with the lid before starting to mix. When mixing hot liquid, you
have to be very careful in order to avoid splashing of hot liquid, otherwise you can get
burned. Do not forget to close the feeding hole of the blender jug with the cap.
Always close and hold the lid of the blender jug before starting to blend. In case the lid
would come up during the mixing of hot preparations in particular (see “caution” on page
15), stop your appliance and take the lid off in order to release built-up pressure. Then
restart the operation (with closed lid), holding the lid firm.
The appliance is designed for the preparation of small quantities of food that have to be
consumed rather quickly. It is not designed for the preparation of large quantities at once.
Do not touch the blades while the appliance is operating and do not try to block their
movement in any way.
Do not use the appliance without any food in it.

person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to
avoid all danger. In case of need you should return the appliance to this electrician.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This appliance is not intended for professional use. You should follow the requested breaks.
Failure to follow this instruction carefully may result in damage to the motor. Please refer to the
rating label for the maximum continuous usage time (KB xx min where xx is the allowed
maximum usage time). The breaks should last at least 10 minutes.
SPEED SETTINGS
OFF = Stop
Pushbutton 1 = Minimum speed (slow)
Pushbutton 5 = Maximum speed (fast)
Pushbutton P = Pulse function
The appliance will switch to OFF mode automatically according to below table. For speed 1,
the appliance will switch to speed 2 automatically after the indicated time.
PLEASE NOTE!
Do not use the 2 functions of your appliance (food processor and blender) simultaneously, but
use only 1 function at a time.
If you do not want to use the blender, remove the pouring jug from the appliance and put the
top protection cover onto the appliance (see page 5, figure A). Otherwise the appliance will
not function.
Put the front protection cover onto the appliance (see page 5, figure B).
MOUNTING AND USE OF THE FOOD PROCESSOR
The food processor is equipped with a beater, whisk and dough hook. With those accessories
you can beat, knead and mix.
