will be set. If you want to stop cooking before the time is elapsed,
simply press the „On/Off“ key again.
The cooking plate will then shut off automatically once the time is
elapsed.
Note:
NEVER heat an empty cookware! This will cause the unit to
overheat, damage the cookware and/or cause the unit to shut off.
Note:
If you take the pot or pan from the plate during use, a “beep”
will sound as well and “E1” will be displayed. Eventually the unit will
switch off. It is preferable to switch the appliance off before
removing the pot or pan.
Important!
The temperature function should be used when a specific
cooking temperature is requested. When selected, the temperature
of the food is monitored and regulated – the unit will cycle on and
off to maintain the chosen temperature! On the other hand, when
using the “Power” function, the temperature is not regulated and
heating will be continuous - so preferably use this function when a
specific temperature is not required, for example to bring water to a
quick boil.
As a rule, the power function is more aimed to heating
liquids, while the temperature function is more aimed to cooking
solid food.
SUITABLE UTENSILS
It is easy to check if your cookware is compatible – simply use the
tester provided or a magnet to check if the bottom of the cookware
is magnetic. If it is, and the magnet sticks, then it will work perfectly
with your induction cooking plate.
Suitable cooking utensils (magnetic):
Steel or cast iron, enamelled iron, some stainless steel, flat pans/pots
with a diameter of 4 ¾ to 10” (12 to 25.4cm). The bottom needs to be
magnetic to be induction compatible. Please make sure that the hot
bottom of the pan is always well centered on the glass panel, and
never comes in contact with or overlaps on the control panel, to
avoid the unit to be damaged by the heat!
