When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal
objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal
objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another.
Failure to do so may result in

shorting the battery terminals and may

cause bums or a fire.

37.

If the battery pack becomes exhausted, it should be removed from the
product to avoid leakage. In the event of the battery pack leaking, do
not allow any liquid to come into contact with the skin or eyes If
contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes,
seek medical help immediately. Liquid ejected from the battery may
cause irritation or burns.

38.

Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is damaged or modified.
Damaged or modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior
resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.

39.

Do not expose the battery pack or appliance to fire or excessive
temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 265°F (130°C) may
cause an explosion.

40.

Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or
appliance outside of the temperature range specified in the
instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the
specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.

41.

Keep the battery pack out of the reach of children.

42.

Secondary battery packs need to be charged before use. After
extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and
discharge the batteries several times to obtain maximum performance.

43.

Do not leave battery packs charging for prolonged periods of time.

44.

Do not store above 140°F (60°C). Avoid storing in direct sunlight.

45.

Do not crush, puncture, dismantle, or otherwise damage the battery
pack.

46.

Do not dismantle, open or shred battery packs.

47.

Do not expose the battery pack to heat or fire as it may explode.

48.

Do not subject the battery pack to mechanical shock.

49.

Do not dispose of an exhausted battery pack, take it to a local
recycling station.

50.

Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any openings
blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air
flow.

51.

Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of your body away from
openings and moving parts.

52.

Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
