Use full
stroke
length
To achieve the best possible service-
life and safety from the gas spring,
the instructions below must be
followed. The gas spring is intended
for use in tool and machine
applications.
For marking and general information
of the product, see the back page.
Mounting instructions
Secure the gas spring to the tool/
machine whenever possible, using
the threaded holes in the base of the
gas spring or a suitable flange.
The threaded hole in the piston rod
top should not be used for mounting
purposes. It is only to be used when
servicing the gas spring.
Port 3: Used only for Positive Lock
System
Port 1: Gas charging and evacuating
Make sure the gas spring is mounted
parallel to the direction of the
compression stroke.
Ensure the contact surface of the
piston rod top is perpendicular to the
direction of the compression stroke
and is sufficiently hardened.
The gas spring should not be
subjected to side loads. Protect
the piston rod against mechanical
damage and contact with fluids.
Always use the stroke length ± 0.5
mm to achieve the best performance.
The maximum charging pressure (at
20°C) must not be exceeded as it
may effect the safety of the product.
Use maximum pressure according to
the label (max. 150 bar).
Exceeding the gas spring’s
recommended operating temperature
will shorten the service-life of the gas
spring.
To avoid overheating a thermal relay
should be installed.

Monteringsanvisningar
Fäst gasfjädern i verktyget med hjälp
av de gängade hålen i gasfjäderns
botten eller med hjälp av lämpligt
fäste.
Det gängade hålet i kolvstångs-
änden får inte användas för
monteringsändamål. Det är endast
avsett att användas vid
underhållsarbete.

Se till att gasfjädern är monterad helt
parallellt med rörelseriktningen.
Kontaktytan på kolvstångsänden
skall vara vinkelrät mot
rörelseriktningen.
Gasfjädern får inte utsättas för någon
sidobelastning.
Skydda kolvstången mot mekaniska
skador och kontakt med vätska.
Utnyttja alltid slaglängd inom ± 0,5
mm för att uppnå bäst funktionalitet.
Det maximala fylltrycket (vid 20°C)
som anges för gasfjädern får inte
överskridas, eftersom det kan
äventyra produktens säkerhet.
Använd fylltryck enligt etikett (max.
150 bar).
Om de för gasfjädern
rekommenderade
driftstemperaturerna inte kan hållas,
förkortas gasfjäderns livslängd.
För att undvika överhettning
installeras ett thermorelä.

Instrucciones de montaje
Si es posible, ajustar el resorte en la
herramienta con ayuda de uno o
varios de los orificios fileteados de la
base del resorte, u otro soporte
adecuado.
No usar para la instalasión el orificio
fileteado del extremo de la biela,
destinado exclusivamente a las
tareas de mantenimiento.
Acceso de carga 1 = Gas del Acceso
de carga 3 = Gas que evacua
Asegurarse de montar el resorte de
gas en posición totalmente paralela a
la dirección de movimiento.
La superficie de contacto del extremo
de la biela debe formar un ángulo
recto con la dirección de movimiento.
El resorte de gas no puede ser
sometido a ningun tipo de presión
lateral.
Proteger la biela contra posibles
daños mecánicos e impedir que
entre en contacto con cualquier
líquido.
Siempre utilice el golpe longitud
dentro ± 0.5 mm para lograr la mejor
function.
Utilice la presión máxima según la
escritura de la etiqueta (max. 150
bar).
No superar la presión máxima de
llenado (a 20°C) especificada para el
resorte de gas. De lo contrario, se
comprometerá la seguridad del
producto.
Si no se mantienen las temperaturas
operativas recomendadas para el
resorte de gas, disminuirá la vida útil
de éste.
Para evitar sobrecalenta tiene que
instalar un sould termal.
