➤ Compressed air and pressurised components can injure or cause death if the contained
energy is released suddenly.

1. Shut down the machine using the «OFF» key.
2. Isolate the machine from the air consumers.
3. Switch off the power supply isolating device (disconnect the plug/plug connection) (all poles).
Machine is venting completely (relief and load valve/venting and condensate valve).
4. Check for zero pressure.
10.6 Venting the crankcase (de-pressurising)
After being switched off, the machine is still under pressure from the air consumer up to the non-
return valve.
De-pressurise the crankcase before carrying out any service functions.
The crankcase is de-pressurised by means of the safety valve.
Precondition The machine has cooled down.
