OPERATING THE SHIELD
1. PLUG IN AND TURN ON YOUR SHIELD
Wait a few moments for the HOME screen to
be displayed. This initialisation time is shown
by a progressively illuminated JVD logo in the
centre of the screen.
2. SELECT YOUR ROOM SIZE
After the appliance has finished starting up, the screen will ask you to select your room size.
10 - 20 m

For an area with greater restrictions, you
can change the room size setting to boost
performance. For areas greater than 60 m

, it
is best to add another Shield.
3. SELECT THE PURIFICATION MODE
CONTINUOUS mode:
For continuous
protection, activate this mode to purify the air
in your room for 8 hours.
BOOST mode:
In the event of unusual events
(strong odours or greater risk of contamination
or pollution), activate BOOST mode to
intensively purify the air in your room.
USING CONTINUOUS MODE
The Shield was designed using a JVD
®
patented
technology. CONTINUOUS mode provides
optimum purification for a period of 8 hours and
shows on the screen as a slow glow/fade.
After the 8-hour purification, the cycle ends.
The Shield will then await further instructions.

information about this mode.
