Basic Disc Operations
While playing a disc, you can do the following operations.
To stop play for a moment
Press CD

While pausing, the elapsed playing time

To resume playing,

To go to another track

Programming the Playing Order of the Tracks
—Program Play
You can arrange the order in which tracks play before you
start playing.
You can program up to 20 tracks.
On the remote control ONLY:

Load a disc.
• If the current playing source is not the CD player,
press CD

before going to the next step.

Press PROG (program).
The PRGM (program) indicator lights up
on the display.
• If a program has been stored in memory, the program
is called up.

Press MULTI KEY > or MULTI KEY < to
select the track number, then press SET.

Repeat step

to program other tracks you
want.

The tracks are played in the order
you have programed.
To stop playing,

To exit from Program play mode,

playing. The PRGM (program) indicator goes off. All the
programed tracks will be cleared.
• Disc ejection also erases the program.
To check the program contents
You can check the program contents by pressing
PROG (program) on the remote control.
The programed tracks are shown in the
programed order.
To modify the program
Before or after playing, you can erase the last
programed track by pressing CANCEL on the
remote control.
• Each time you press the button, the last
programed track is erased from the program.
To add tracks in the program before playing,
simply select
the track numbers you want to add by following step
3
of the
programming procedure.
• If you try to program the 21st track
“FULL” will appear on the display.
• If the total playing time is 100 minutes or more
The total playing time will not be shown. “– –:– –” will appear on
the display.
