Dubbing The Desired Programs On A Disc
You can select and dub your desired programs on a DVD disc to
the tape.

Load a disc you want to dub on the DVD deck, and a cassette
with the record safety tab intact on the VCR deck.

Press VCR

DVD to select the dubbing direction. The dubbing
(DUBB.) lamp lights up on the unit.

Prepare the DVD deck for dubbing.
A
Press VCR/DVD repeatedly so that the DVD lamp lights up on
the unit.

Press NAVIGATION to access the Library Database DVD Navi
screen.

to select “ORIGINAL”, then press ENTER .

to select the desired program, then press MEMO .

Select the programs in the order that you want them to be dub. The
numbers of the playback order appear on the index. You can select
up to 30 programs.
●
If you have specified a wrong selection, press MEMO . The number
disappears.
●
When you want to clear all the numbers, press CLEAR (

to locate the point where you want dubbing to start,
then press

to pause playback.

Prepare the VCR deck for dubbing.

Press VCR/DVD repeatedly so that the VCR lamp lights up on
the unit.

Press REC MODE repeatedly to set the recording mode.

simultaneously so that the VCR deck enters the
Record Pause mode.

Press and hold DUBB. for more than 2 seconds to start the
dubbing. The dubbing (DUBB.) lamp blinks on the unit.

Playback on the DVD deck and recording on the VCR deck starts at
the same time.

When all the selected programs have been dubbed, playback on the
DVD deck and recording on the VCR deck stops automatically at the
same time. P

NOTES:
●
The program memory remains even after dubbing is completed. To
clear the memory, access the Library Database DVD Navi screen and
press
CLEAR (

).
●
When locating the point where you want dubbing to start, be sure to
press

. There should be at least a one-second
interval when pressing these two buttons.
●
If you do not want the superimposed indication to be recorded, set
“SUPERIMPOSE” to “OFF” before dubbing. (

Program Dubbing (From DVD to VCR)
●
Turn on the unit.
●
Turn on the TV and select the AV mode.
●
Slide the TV/CABLE/DBS/DVD switch to DVD .
