(1) Remove the 4 screws [U], and remove the 2 pieces of
BOTTOM BRACKET, TOP BRACKET and 2 pieces of
SIDE BRACKET.
(2) Remove the 8 screws [V], and remove the 2 pieces of
BACK FRAME (BOTTOM) and 2 pieces of BACK FRAME
(TOP).
(3) Remove the 4 screws [S] and 4 screws [T].
(4) Lift the PDP UNIT upright and remove it with enough care
not to impose shock to the PDP UNIT.
CAUTION:
• Two or more people are required to remove the PDP UNIT.
• The gas pouring port is covered with the protection material.
In operation, be careful not to damage the gas pouring port.
• Do not touch the front side (glass) of the PDP with your
fingers.

2.4.12 REMOVING THE INNER CASE and FRONT FILTER

• Remove the REAR COVER.
• Remove the PDP UNIT (with each PWB and CHASSIS BASE
affixed on the PDP UNIT).
NOTE:
• Disconnect the connectors [CN0CD] and [CN0CC] from the
DISPLAY INTERFACE PWB.
• It is advisable to take note of the connecting location
(connector number) of the removed connectors.
(1) Remove the 1 screw [W], 4 screws [X], 3 screws [Y] and
remove the INNER CASE.
(2) Remove the FRONT FILTER.
CAUTION:
• The INNER CASE is attached with the FRONT FILTER
(made of glass). Be careful not to impose shock to it.
• Remove the FRONT FILTER with enough care not to
damage it.
2.4.13 REMOVING THE DISPLAY LED PWB and DISPLAY
SWITCH PWB (Fig.6)
• Remove the PDP UNIT.
• Remove the INNER CASE.
(1) Remove the 2 screws [Z], and remove the DISPLAY LED
PWB.
(2) Remove the 2 screws [a], and remove the CONTROL
KNOB.
(3) Remove the 2 screws [b], and remove the DISPLAY
SWITCH PWB.
