Subtitle
With DTV, a number of subtitles can be broad-
cast at the same time. Choose the subtitle
you want to display when watching these
broadcasts.
1. Press the “ ” / “ ” buttons and choose
Subtitle.
2. Press the “ ” / “ ” buttons and choose a
subtitle that appears when the SUBTITLE
button is pressed.
Favourite Mode
Enable/disable the Edit PR List Favourites
settings.
1. Press the “ ” / “ ” buttons and choose
Favourite Mode.
2. Press the “ ” / “ ” buttons and choose ON
or OFF.
On:
The Edit PR List Favourites settings are en-
abled.
When the / button is pressed,
only the channels chosen in the Edit PR List
favourites (those with the icon) can be cho-
sen.
Off:
The Edit PR List Favourites settings are dis-
abled.
For details on how to set your Favourite, see
"setting the favourite channels" on page 24.
When the / button is pressed, all
the channels registered in the Edit PR List
can be chosen.
Software Version
Set the method to upgrade the Digital terres-
trial broadcast (DVB-T) receiver software.
1. Press the “ ” / “ ” buttons and choose
Software Version, and press the OK button.
The setting window appears.

2. Press the “ ” / “ ” buttons and choose
Automatic Download, and press the “ ”
or “ ” buttons to choose Enable and Dis-
able.
Enable (factory settings):
DTV software is automatically updated ev-
ery day at 3:00 am. When enabled, the TV
also searches for new software whenever
it goes to standby.
Disable:
DTV software is not automatically updated.
Manually updating the Digital terrestrial
broadcasting (DVB-T) information
Press the “ ” / “ ” buttons and choose
Search for New Version, then press the OK
button.
DTV information is updated.
In the future, there is a possibility that Receiver
Update function may also be able to be used
to update the DTV software and add new func-
tions.
Enter PIN code
Choose Enter PIN code to change the PIN
code for the Edit PR List menu’s “Lock”. The
PIN code factory setting (how it is set when
you purchase the television) is 0000.
1. Press the “ ” / “ ” buttons and choose
Enter PIN code, and press the OK button.
2. Input the current PIN code.
