• Sound and picture are
sometimes interrupted or
distorted.
You are driving on rough
roads.
Stop playback while driving
on rough roads.
Disc is scratched.
Change the disc.
Connections are incorrect.
Check the cords and

Recordable/Rewritable disc playback—MP3/WMA/WAV/JPEG/MPEG-1/MPEG-2/DivX
• Disc cannot be played
back.
No files are recorded on the
disc.
Change the disc.
Files do not have the
extension code in their file
names.
Add the extension code to
their file names.
Tracks are not recorded in a
compliant format.
Change the disc.
Record tracks using a
compliant application (see
page 17).
• Noise is generated.
The track played back is not
an appropriate file (although
it has the extension code of
either type).
Skip to another track or
change the disc. (Do not add
the extension code to files of
different type.)
• A longer readout time is
required.
Readout time varies due to
the complexity of the folder/
file configuration.
Do not use too many
hierarchies and folders.
• Tracks cannot be played
back as you have intended
them to play.
Playback order is determined
when the files are recorded.
• “THIS PLAYER IS NOT
AUTHORIZED TO PLAY
THIS VIDEO.” appears
when playing a DivX.
The unit is not authorized to
play that track.
Skip to another track or
change the disc.
• “RENTAL EXPIRED.”
appears when playing a
DivX.
The number of views of that
track has been expired.
Skip to another track or
change the disc.
• Elapsed playing time is
not correct.
This sometimes occurs
during play. This is caused
by how the tracks are
recorded on the disc.
