INSTALLATION

The following illustration shows a typical installation. However, you should make adjustments corresponding to your specific car. If you have any questions or require information regarding installation
kits, consult your JVC car audio dealer or a company supplying kits.

Installing the main unit (in-dash mounting)

Do the required
electrical connections.

Attach the sleeve-mounting plates—either type,
corresponding to the depth of the mounting area

  : see the next step).

Use Type B when 

A

  is 165 mm while use Type A

when 

A

  is less than 165 mm.

Bend the appropriate tabs to hold
the sleeve firmly in place.

Removing the main unit

Before removing the main unit, release the rear section.

Insert the two handles, then pull them as
illustrated so that the unit can be removed.
