The product does not pair with the Bluetooth
device.
• When the device is connected via cable,
disconnect it.
• Turn off, then turn on the Bluetooth device.
• When the connected Bluetooth device is used
for Android Auto, pairing is not allowed.
The device is disconnected automatically or
the device cannot be connected.
• When iPhone compatible with CarPlay is
connected to the USB input terminal, it cannot
be connected via Bluetooth. Use the phone and
audio player function on the CarPlay screen.

[Apple CarPlay] or [Android Auto] is not
displayed on the <Home> screen.
• Check the connected device is compatible with
CarPlay or Android Auto. (Pages 25 and 27)
• When iPhone is connected, check whether the
cable is certified by Apple Inc.
• Disconnect the device, then connect it again.
• Check restriction function is activated for the
connected iPhone.
App (such as map) does not work correctly.
• You cannot use some Apps when reception
status of the connected device is poor. This is
not a malfunction of the product.

Phone
Phone sound quality is poor.
• Reduce the distance between the product and
the Bluetooth mobile phone.
• Move the car to a place where you can get a
better signal reception.

iPod/iPhone
No sound comes out of the speakers.
• Disconnect iPod/iPhone from the USB input
terminal, then connect it again.
• Select another source, then select
[iPod]
again.
iPod/iPhone does not turn on or does not
work.
• Check the connecting cable and its connection.
• Update the firmware version.
• Charge the battery.
• Reset iPod/iPhone.
Sound is distorted.

“Checking the file...” does not disappear from
the screen.
• Disconnect then connect the USB device.
While playing a track, sound is sometimes
interrupted.
• The files have not been properly recorded into
the USB device. Record the files again, and try
again.
Tracks are not played back as you have
intended them to play.
• The playback order may differ depending on
the USB device.
