Surround speakers

1

:

Connect surround speakers to the TV
when you want to use the DOLBY

SURROUND function to enjoy surround
sound.

• Even without surround speakers, you

can easily enjoy surround sound by
using the 3D-PHONIC function.

• Use 8-ohm impedance type speakers.
• Pay attention to the positive (+) and

negative (-) polarities when connecting
surround speakers to your TV.

• For the best effect, position the

surround speakers at least 1 metre

above the heads of seated viewers.

):

Using the subwoofer system improves the
playing performance of low sounds.

• It is particularly effective with the low

frequency effects (LFE) included in

5.1-channel Dolby Digital surround
sound.

• When a front speaker system and/or

subwoofer system is connected, listen
to the sound from the connected

equipment. Depending on the settings,
it may not be possible to hear the
sound using just the TV speaker. To

listen to the sound from the TV
speaker without using the connected
equipment, change the settings with

one of the following.
-  Set the SOUND SETTING

SPEAKER to ON, or

-  Set the SURROUND FEATURES

3D-PHONIC or DOLBY
SURROUND TV SPEAKER to “L/
C/R”.

To listen to the sound from the
connected equipment after changing
the settings, change the settings back

to match the connected equipment.
