To change the charge mode
P.ON
The battery in the iPod is charged through
the iPod terminal when the iPod is
connected or during Standby Mode.
P.OFF
The battery is not charged.
To turn on iPod’s backlight
Playing Back a Digital Audio Player
• For connecting a digital audio player, see page 6.
You can listen to the digital audio player connected to the
AUDIO IN jack.
• Make sure to turn down the volume on the System to
minimum level before starting playback.
To adjust the audio input level
Remote
ONLY
If the sound from the device connected to the
AUDIO IN jack is too loud or too quiet, you can preset the
audio input level through the AUDIO IN jack (without
changing the volume level).
While “AUDIO IN” is selected as the source...
• As the number of the level increases, the preset input
level is increased.

Shuffle Songs
• “SHUFFLE” appears on the display
for a while.
• The shuffle icon lights up on the
display/screen of the iPod.
To cancel,
press TUNER/PLAY MODE again until the
shuffle icon disappears.
Repeat Play
• “REPEAT” appears on the display
for a while.
•
(repeat all) or
(repeat one)
lights up on the display/screen of
the iPod (applicable for iPod audio
file and video playlist).
To cancel,
press REPEAT until the repeat icon disappears.
To view a video/picture from the iPod on the
monitor
Connect the System to the monitor using either component
cord or SCART cord. For details, see page 6.
To set the component or composite output for
video viewing
When an iPod is connected and before playback starts...
• To change the setting, return to the menu screen for the
newly selected output to take effect.
