• C losed C aptions subtitles are usually found on closed caption channel C C 1. S om e program s m ay
include additional text inform ation which is usually found on text channel T 1. T he other channels
are available for future use.
• C losed captioning m ay not work correctly if the signal being received is weak or if you are playing
a video tape.
• M ost broadcasts containing C losed C aptioning will display a notice at the start of the program .
