The Protect mode helps prevent the accidental
erasure of files.

Open the LCD monitor fully.

Set the Video Output Mode Switch to “LCD
MONITOR”. (

Load a memory card. (

Set the Playback Mode Switch to “MEMORY”.

Set the Power Switch to “ON” while pressing
down the Lock Button located on the switch.

The still image which has been played back at
the last time is displayed.

. The Menu Screen appears.

“PROTECT”, and press
MENU
. The Sub Menu
appears.
To protect the currently displayed file

“CURRENT”, and press

. The PROTECT
screen appears.

select the desired file.

“EXECUTE”, and press

To protect all files stored in the memory
card

. The PROTECT screen appears.

To cancel protection, select “RETURN”.
NOTES:

If the “
” mark appears, the currently displayed
file is protected.
●
When the memory card is initialized or corrupted,
even protected files are deleted. If you do not want
to lose important files, transfer them to a PC and
save them.
To Remove Protection
Before doing the following, perform steps

To remove protection from the currently
displayed file

. The PROTECT screen appears.
