Locating Serial Number ID Labels on FRU Components
The power supplies, fan modules, HDD modules, and VCCI modules are field-replaceable units (FRUs).
For most of these FRUs, you must remove the FRU from the external Routing Engine chassis to see the
FRU’s serial number ID label.
To locate the serial number ID label on the component:

AC or DC power supply—The serial number ID label is on the right side of the power supply (see
Figure 45 on page 126 ). See “Removing an AC or DC Power Supply from an XRE200 External Routing
Engine” on page 95 .

Fan module—The serial number ID label is in the middle of the fan when the fan module is facing forward
(see Figure 46 on page 127 ). You do not need to remove the fan module to see the serial number.
