Operating instructions for glass gripper set 42.745-1734
The work environment should be dust-free during the task of changing the glasses.
Please follow the additional instructions in red for the glass change of the Meister Calendar and Agenda.
Step 1:
Place the matching glass insert into
the glass gripper with the etching
facing upwards. To do this, open the
glass gripper by pressing outwards.
Step 2:
Position insert precisely onto the
watch.
Step 3:
Press the glass gripper together and
carefully lift the glass.
Step 4:
Clean the dial.
Step 4 A:
Prepare the spacer with the angled
edge facing upwards.
Step 4 B:
Place the spacer onto the dial.
Step 4 C:
Align the spacer centrally on the
dial.
Step 5:
Remove the glass from the glass
gripper.
Step 6:
Insert new glass into the glass
gripper with the curve facing
upwards.
Step 7:
Lay the glass gripper onto the new
glass and press down lightly.
Press the glass gripper together
gently to raise the glass.
